Innkeepers

In late 2012, my husband, Bob Klebba, and I purchased the historic Collins House and have opened her as a B&B. I love architecture and I am both thrilled and humbled to own this stunning home. The house was built in the prairie school style by local architects Louis W. Claude and Edward F. Starck. I feel strongly that this house should be a place for everyone to enjoy. Whether it be guests at the Inn, or guests at a private function, or neighbors walking by, we are happy to invite the public into our home. And, I think it is important to offer a range of price options. When I travel, I look for unique places, well situated and clean. And that’s what we have here. The location is incredible. We have a vibrant, busy neighborhood out front, and out back we have the stunningly beautiful and tranquil lake Mendota.

Bob and I have lived in Madison for 30 years and love sharing our knowledge of this beautiful area. In addition to innkeeping, we own a plant nursery 10 miles west of town, Morningwood Nursery and Greenhouses. We share our private living quarters with 2 labradors — Coco and Arnie.

I’m looking forward to meeting you!
