Welcome to the Mendota Lake House Inn and Bed and Breakfast. You will always find the lowest price by booking here directly from our website. Our 1911 arts and crafts Inn is located on the lakeshore in downtown Madison Wisconsin. We are a short walk to the state Capitol and a short hike to the University of Wisconsin campus (1 mile.) Rooms have great views of the lake and include a healthy continental style breakfast. We are in a vibrant, walkable neighborhood with great restaurants nearby. Languages spoken here include French, Italian and Spanish.
At the Mendota Lake House, we believe in all natural products, from hair care and hand soap to the cleaning products we use. We shop farmers markets and the local health food store because locally sourced fresh and organic products are important to us.
And we may not be your typical Inn or bed and breakfast because we don’t hover and we have no doilies. Instead, we provide the space for you to feel at home. At our Inn you will find a clean room, a comfy bed, a great location and a good price. From the spacious Oscar Wilde to the smaller, but comfortable Gore Vidal, we have a room for you. Plus, fabulous sunsets!
